The Person I Am

-
God designed me for who am I.
God created me so special in His eyes.
But sin covered my real individuality,
And I left with confusion about my identity.

Search my heart, unveil my true self.
Wash out the impurity from the inner self.
Let the outer shines brighter and brighter
'til my personality reflects God’s power.

Help me discover my ultimate purpose;
The mightiness of the strengths I have;
The beauty beyond my weaknesses;
The greatness within my soul and spirit.



The poem I wrote is a reflection of the teaching I prepared for my Personality Development students.

Send the Light

Light . Jesus is the light, and as His children, He said that we are also the light of this world. We can only shine when we walk in the light of Jesus. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12  “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.  Matthew 5:14-16  For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 40 Years

  "Life begins at forty."  Madalas mo din bang naririnig ito? Para sa ilan, nagsisimula palang ang buhay at 40. Para sa iba naman ay pagpapatuloy ito ng kanilang nasimulan. "Ano pa nga ba ang mangyayari sa akin sa 40th ko?", iyan ang tanong ko sa sarili before I turned 40. Gusto kong ihanda ang sarili ko holistically, especially my mind and emotions. Ang goal ko is to live up to my calling and create a good legacy for the young and future generations.  I celebrated my birthday with CEF-Cavite Team.  Kinabukasan, check-up naman at itreat na lang ang sarili. Human development is my favorite topic noong kumukuha ako ng units sa Education. I realized, it is important for a person at the early age na madiscover ang God-given purpose niya and not to lose a sense of purpose habang tumatanda siya.
