Send the Light

Light. Jesus is the light, and as His children, He said that we are also the light of this world. We can only shine when we walk in the light of Jesus.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12

 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16

 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. Ephesians 5:8-10


God uses the Send the Light Bible Institute to bear His light, and I am grateful that they have played a role in my spiritual growth.

After completing the Ministerial Courses, I started the Diploma in Mission on  August 15, 2023, then finished it by the end of December 2023. Finally, on October 11, 2025, nakita ko na ang mga classmates ko at nakasama ang iba pang Christ-followers sa graduation na ginanap sa STLMI Proper sa Muntinlupa. Maraming salamat sa Lord sa Reyes-Lopez and Reyes-Comia families, at sympre sa aking mag-ama (thanks dade and Jamakk. Love ko kayo!) Salamat, STLBI. Praise the Lord!

Grateful sa Lord dahil ginamit ng Lord ang Send the Light Ministry Bible Institute para mag-grow pa ako sa spiritual life ko. 2020, when I finally embraced my calling, alam ko na kailangan kong maging equipped. Salamat sa Lord dahil Siya ang gumawa ng way para sa akin. I prayed and sought His will. Salamat sa Lord for directing my path. Hinanda na pala ng Lord ang lahat.

2016, when I met Ptr. Dan Lopez. That time, hindi ko pa alam na pastor siya, pero hinahangaan na namin siya sa class noon kasi magaling siya. Ang Diyos pala ang kumikilos sa buhay niya. Classmate ko siya sa Professional Education sa EARIST, GMA Campus. First day of the class, I was praying na si God ang magbigay sa akin ng mabubuting classmates. Kahit ang magiging seatmates ko ay pinagdasal ko sa Lord.. Pagpasok ko sa room, marami ng students. Maraming pwedeng upuan. Then, I noticed this man sa harapan. Wala siyang katabi. "Lord, dito na ba ako tatabi? Pero lalaki siya.... Ok lang kaya?" Umupo ako sa same row  malapit sa kaniya. Naging magkagroup kami. Never thought na siya pala ang gagamitin ng Lord para sa akin sa 2020. Noong time na nabigyan ako ng opportunity for discipleship, nakita ko na mayroong silang Bible School. Salamat sa Lord sa provision  Niya dahil nakapag-enrol ako at natapos ko ang discipleship program ng STLBI.

Maraming nangyari along the way bago ko ito natapos, but God is truly faithful. Kapag nagtiwala tayo sa Panginoon, He will finish what He has started sa life natin. Lahat ng napag-aaralan natin ay magiging head knowledge lang, unless isabuhay na natin ito. Sa grace ng Lord ay maapply natin ang natutuhan natin at maishare pa sa iba. May we always reflect the light of Jesus in the world. Thanks be to God! All for His glory!

40 Years

  "Life begins at forty."  Madalas mo din bang naririnig ito? Para sa ilan, nagsisimula palang ang buhay at 40. Para sa iba naman ay pagpapatuloy ito ng kanilang nasimulan. "Ano pa nga ba ang mangyayari sa akin sa 40th ko?", iyan ang tanong ko sa sarili before I turned 40. Gusto kong ihanda ang sarili ko holistically, especially my mind and emotions. Ang goal ko is to live up to my calling and create a good legacy for the young and future generations.  I celebrated my birthday with CEF-Cavite Team.  Kinabukasan, check-up naman at itreat na lang ang sarili. Human development is my favorite topic noong kumukuha ako ng units sa Education. I realized, it is important for a person at the early age na madiscover ang God-given purpose niya and not to lose a sense of purpose habang tumatanda siya.
