Shaking Time
Shaking time is usually regarded as the end time. But this time, let us study shaking time from the simplest to the most complex battles we are encountering daily. Overcoming your "shaking time" will prepare you for the Great Shaking Time.
Every day we face different challenges that test our faith, attitude and behaviors. Each day our character is being shaken by various circumstances that may look rough at first but will make you blameless through time.
When you are being shaken by trials of any kind, your potential is being sharpened. God does not allow trials or temptations to be inflicted on us.
The root of temptations is the evil desire of man. The mind is so powerful that anything that comes and goes from it can make or break a person. Therefore, transforming the mind is very important.
Even how hard the man tries to change himself, he will fail. Only God can change him. His full acceptance and belief in Christ, and his fear of the Lord will give him the wisdom to come to Christ and be transformed.
But Job who was a righteous man had also experienced a tremendous shake.
How do you deal with trials? Do you handle it with a positive spirit? Or do you complain most of the time?
Everybody is not exempted. We are capable of experiencing trials and temptations, but the question is, “How do you manage it?”
When you are shakable, it means you are not yet full. Like a sword, you will be sharpened. Like an electrical appliance, you need maintenance to function properly according to your purpose. Like plants, you need air, water and sunlight to nourish you. Like a building, you need to have a strong foundation to stand strong through the years. Like a runner, you need constant practice to finish the race. Look at trials, not as hindrances to success but as vehicles to fulfillment.
Do not feel bad when there are shakes.
Do not get angry with people who have shaken your temper. Instead, be thankful for them for this will bring out the best in you.
Keep in mind that all you need is God to overcome the shaking time. Rely in His love and power. You are already victorious in Christ! His wisdom will keep you smart and His Spirit will keep you enduring until the end.
