Campus Ministry

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

This verse is the focus of the campus ministry we held at Jesus the Heart of God Christian Academy (Main) on December 12-14, 2018. Room-to-room from Preschool up to High School we shared the Good News about the reason of Jesus’ birth and His death on the cross and that He rose again and will come back soon.

Speaking with the officers of the campus ministry, I said, “We have two goals: First, love God above all. Second, love the people of God.”

Luke 10:27
He answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

When we love God, we obey Him and we serve Him and we value all that are precious to Him including His most special creation --- man. Our compassion to other people is a reflection of our love to God.  The Good News is the best gift we can give to everyone for it is wrapped with power to overcome the world and to receive the eternal life and salvation through Christ Jesus.

To be part of Jesus’ ministry here on earth is such a great privilege and to work with a wonderful team sharing one vision and mission for the glory of the Lord is such a blessing. The hard work with obedience to God will not turn to nothing.

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

A big thanks to One Hope Philippines for the BOOK OF HOPE they sent us. It became one of the beautiful instruments in spreading the Gospel here. More blessings be upon this team!

To all the students and teachers who are involved in this activity, thank you for being God’s instruments in building His Kingdom! Let us continually be prayerful and seek God and His Word every day. Walk faithfully with God and we will experience the fullness of His presence in our lives. Go forth! God bless us all, team!

Above all, thanks for the unending grace of the Lord Jesus that made us accomplish the first part of our goal. All glory belongs to Him!

Send the Light

Light . Jesus is the light, and as His children, He said that we are also the light of this world. We can only shine when we walk in the light of Jesus. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12  “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.  Matthew 5:14-16  For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. 40 Years

  "Life begins at forty."  Madalas mo din bang naririnig ito? Para sa ilan, nagsisimula palang ang buhay at 40. Para sa iba naman ay pagpapatuloy ito ng kanilang nasimulan. "Ano pa nga ba ang mangyayari sa akin sa 40th ko?", iyan ang tanong ko sa sarili before I turned 40. Gusto kong ihanda ang sarili ko holistically, especially my mind and emotions. Ang goal ko is to live up to my calling and create a good legacy for the young and future generations.  I celebrated my birthday with CEF-Cavite Team.  Kinabukasan, check-up naman at itreat na lang ang sarili. Human development is my favorite topic noong kumukuha ako ng units sa Education. I realized, it is important for a person at the early age na madiscover ang God-given purpose niya and not to lose a sense of purpose habang tumatanda siya.
