Looking Forward

I think it was February of this year 2021 ulit naipagtuloy ang bagong simula ng prayer and fasting sa JHGWC.  It is being done every last Saturday of the month. Then July 2021, nasimulan na rin ulit ang weekly corporate prayer. 

I praise God for what He is doing in the local church here. Marami pa talagang gagawin ang Lord. He is not finished yet.

From working in Children's Ministry, I answered the call to get out of my comfort zone. God impressed to me na if I want change, I must do something. And here I am. For now, facilitating the major things na hindi dapat mawala sa buhay ng simbahan ng Diyos.

Getting old? Yes, I am. Pero parang wala naman talaga nagbago. I can still feel the  same fire and the same passion I have since I started serving the Lord when I was in my youth.

Dati takot ako magsalita, but when God impressed to me that I have to do something, and He will use me nagbago ang lahat. I said to God, "Bahala ka na, Lord. Kilala mo naman ako." In God's grace I conquered intimidation (kasi may mas matatanda sa akin at may mas magagaling) and all my fears to follow God. 

Prayer, we really need this not only individually, pero as a church din. This is one of our weapons as Christians in fighting against the works of the enemy and live our life victoriously daily. 

Praying na mas marami pa ang makaunawa ng tunay na kahulugan ng pananalangin, at marami pang magbabad sa pananalangin.

To God be all the glory!

Send the Light

Light . Jesus is the light, and as His children, He said that we are also the light of this world. We can only shine when we walk in the light of Jesus. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12  “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.  Matthew 5:14-16  For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. 40 Years

  "Life begins at forty."  Madalas mo din bang naririnig ito? Para sa ilan, nagsisimula palang ang buhay at 40. Para sa iba naman ay pagpapatuloy ito ng kanilang nasimulan. "Ano pa nga ba ang mangyayari sa akin sa 40th ko?", iyan ang tanong ko sa sarili before I turned 40. Gusto kong ihanda ang sarili ko holistically, especially my mind and emotions. Ang goal ko is to live up to my calling and create a good legacy for the young and future generations.  I celebrated my birthday with CEF-Cavite Team.  Kinabukasan, check-up naman at itreat na lang ang sarili. Human development is my favorite topic noong kumukuha ako ng units sa Education. I realized, it is important for a person at the early age na madiscover ang God-given purpose niya and not to lose a sense of purpose habang tumatanda siya.
